Ceramic, outdoor Installation for Vanishing Art Exhibition at Carton House, Kildare, Ireland. 2014.
This work was the beginning of series of outdoor works based on the platonic solids. The work moved from the internal gallery space to outdoor sites. Although the work is primarily sculptural in its considerations of line, form, volume etc., it is situated outside to encourage viewers out of the traditional white cube gallery space.
The work was a continued exploration of the biophilia hypothesis and served as a catalyst for viewers to come outside and connect more directly with green spaces and nature that exist in the everyday.
